PLEASE NOTE THE MESSAGE BELOW FROM THE NATIONAL TRUST, REGARDING THE CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK:
Unfortunately, the Trust has also had to make the incredibly difficult decision to cancel all upcoming group volunteering – including NTV work parties – and to pause all organised group volunteering for the foreseeable future. Our number one priority is the wellbeing of volunteers, staff and visitors. We are following government guidance to help stop the spread of coronavirus and we will continue to monitor the situation.
Once circumstance change, we look forward to getting back in touch with you to re-arrange work parties. The volunteering contributions of NTV groups are enormously valued – by the Trust as a whole, and particularly by the individual properties where you volunteer. Robert Rhodes, Head of Countryside Management and Rangers, said of our volunteer groups ‘I am always humbled by the time, support and love people are prepared to give to the organisation I work for. It is extraordinary that in these crazy times people still want to volunteer to help – amazing commitment and a real show of how important we are to people.’
Once we have more news we will update the website and get a note out to all members.
If you have paid for an event and would like a refund please get in touch with Piers. He will try to contact all who have paid soon, but he is extremely busy with work at the moment.
The first events for next year are included above and can be booked if they have an event number. Where a location is in a different colour this is a link to to Bunkhouse/Basecamp or Location with details and directions, and we are presently updating these. There may be changes throughout the year, and where known we will update the work sites or tasks, but note these may change due to weather or other jobs taking priority.

If numbers are low on an event please consider coming along to support us, and the work we do for the National Trust. If we have to cancel due to low numbers it may affect future bookings at that location.
Please print off the booking form (should be able to complete online before printing) and send it with a cheque or postal order to the bookings officer at the address given on the form. Members please see the latest emailed newsletter for details of how to transfer payment to bank account. Any bookings not accompanied by payment will take second place to those who have paid, and if the event becomes full you will be placed on the reserve list.
The booking form is only to be used for events over two weeks away, otherwise please contact the leaders. If you are not a member, or do not have their contact details, then click here to send an email to the Bookings Officer with your contact details (preferably a phone number), who will pass on your details to the leaders.
For Family events and booking on them please see the LWMNTV Family web site
You do not need to be a member of the LWMNTV to attend any of these events. If you pay your membership before attending a weekend event, we will send you a Free Event Pass worth £10 and valid for six months, as an encouragement to try one.
Please note that if you do not want to attend the whole weekend you are welcome to attend just one day. Please contact the Bookings Officer or Leader to let them know. Saturdays are best as we usually work approx 09:00 – 17:00, and on Sundays approx 09:00 – 12:30.
