Programme

Most of our events are now Day Tasks in the wider London area and limited to where we able to help out with NT Rangers on a weekend. Normal working hours for a Day Task are usually 9:00 – 16:00. You do not need to be a member to come along to volunteer.

Where possible we will try to continue with weekends away but unfortunately the number of locations we can stay at or visit is limited, as a result of the NT stopping Working Holidays and closing the basecamps. However we are doing our best to keep our name known and keep volunteering to carry out vital conservation work for the NT.

Where a location is in a different colour this is a link to the NT website for that location or if a weekend away to Bunkhouse/Basecamp with details and directions. There may be changes throughout the year, and where known we will update the work sites or tasks, but note these may change due to weather or other jobs taking priority. Please click here to send an email to the Bookings Officer with event number (if listed) and location or location and date, your contact details (preferably a phone number).

The events listed below can be booked using both location and date as reference until they are given event numbers. See bottom of page for booking procedure.

If numbers are low on an event please consider coming along to support us, and the work we do for the National Trust. If we have to cancel due to low numbers it may affect future bookings at that location.

How to book

Please click here to send an email to the Bookings Officer with event number (if listed) and location or location and date, your contact details (preferably a phone number). They will pass on your details to the leaders. Don’t forget to transfer the money if required. Members please see the latest email on events for details of how to transfer payment to bank account. If for a weekend with cost then please print off the booking form (should be able to complete online before printing) and send it with a cheque or postal order to the bookings officer at the address given on the form.

Otherwise print off the booking form (should be able to complete online before printing) and send it with a cheque or postal order to the Bookings Officer at the address given on the form. Any bookings not accompanied by payment will take second place to those who have paid, and if the event becomes full you will be placed on the reserve list.

The booking form is only to be used for events over two weeks away, otherwise please contact the leaders. If you are not a member, or do not have their contact details, then click here to send an email to the Bookings Officer with your contact details (preferably a phone number), who will pass on your details to the leaders.

You do not need to be a member of the LWMNTV to attend any of these events. If you pay your membership before attending a weekend event, we will send you a Free Event Pass worth £10 and valid for six months, as an encouragement to try one.

Normal working hours for a Day Task are usually 9:00 – 16:00. Please note that if you do not want to attend the whole weekend you are welcome to attend just one day. Please contact the Bookings Officer or Leader to let them know. Saturdays are best as we usually work approx 09:00 – 17:00, and on Sundays approx 09:00 – 12:30.
