Most of our events are now Day Tasks in the wider London area and limited to where we able to help out with NT Rangers on a weekend. Normal working hours for a Day Task are usually 9:00 – 16:00. You do not need to be a member to come along to volunteer.
We will try to continue with weekends away but unfortunately the number of locations we can stay at or visit is very limited, as a result of the NT stopping Working Holidays and closing the basecamps. However we are doing our best to keep our name known and keep volunteering to carry out vital conservation work for the NT.
This year most weekends are now extended to leave on the Monday morning, so two full days of volunteering. If you want you can leave on Sunday before or after meal, just let us know when booking.
As always we are looking for volunteers to help with leading, but have arranged most for the first half of 2026. If we have no volunteers to help lead then the event may be cancelled and next year we may reduce the number of events.
Where a location is in a different colour this is a link to the NT website for that location or if a weekend away to Bunkhouse/Basecamp with details and directions. There may be changes throughout the year, and where known we will update the work sites or tasks, but note these may change due to weather or other jobs taking priority. Please click here to send an email to the Bookings Officer with event number (if listed) and location or location and date, your contact details (preferably a phone number).
The events listed below can be booked using both event number and location. See bottom of page for booking procedure. After raising the cost of weekends away in 2025 they will be held the same for 2026.
