Osterley Park & House

Osterley Park and House is a Georgian country estate near Hounslow in West London. Originally the home of Sir Thomas Gresham, the Royal Agent to Queen Mary I and Queen Elizabeth I, it was acquired by the Child family who had Robert Adams redevelop the house in the Palladian style between 1760 and 1780. It is considered to be one of the finest examples of Adams work. It was given to the National Trust in 1949.
